Run for Cleaner Air. Race for a Healthier Narsingdi.

Our mission is dual-focused: to foster a healthy, thriving sports culture that makes distance running the fastest-growing sport in Bangladesh, and to create a direct, beneficial environmental impact. Whether you are an elite athlete hunting for an official qualifying time or a fitness enthusiast ready to test your hard work and dedication, the Narsingdi 25K is your platform to shine. Let’s race together, uncover our country's hidden talents, and move forward toward a cleaner, healthier future.

  • Beyond the Half-Marathon: 12-to-16 week adaptive schedules designed specifically to bridge the gap from 21K to the grueling 25K distance.
  • Runner Race Kit: Every sign-up includes an official eco-friendly race t-shirt, timing chip, and a finisher's medal.
  • Pollution-Aware Training: Tips on optimal indoor/outdoor training schedules based on Narsingdi's real-time daily air quality indexes.

Life Is Better With Running

Some runners run just to run, and have no interest in competing. They’re content with the physical and psychological benefits of the daily ritual.

The mechanisms by which running improves mental health are both biological and psychological in nature. The biological mechanisms include increased levels of mood-related neurotransmitters (serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, and endocannabinoids), while the psychological factors include heightened self-esteem and increased resilience

Yes, You Can Run That Slow

In which I call bullshit on runners who say “My knees hurt!” (or similar) when asked to run at a slower pace on easy days. My message for these runners is this: Get over yourself. You’re not fooling anyone except yourself, and you’re not that special. I’m way faster than you and can I can run an 11:30 mile without bitching. Haile Gebrselassie was way faster than me and he could run an 11:30 mile without losing his trademark 10,000 megawatt smile. Shut up and shuffle

Dying to Run: An Athlete’s Quest for One More Finish

I’m happy to say that I did not die in the quest to cross that final finish line, and the resulting book, Dying to Run: An Athlete’s Quest for One More Finish, is now available for preorder. It’s about running, yes, but it’s also about life and death and everything in between. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry, sometimes within a single page, and it will leave you changed forever, I promise. I wrote it for you, so please accept my gift.
